Who it is for
Parents, grandparents, nannies and other caregivers, plus teachers and educators who work with children with developmental challenges, including children on the autism spectrum. No prior ABA knowledge is needed.
Format at a glance
Length: eight weeks.
Where: Ayira’s Cafe, Kilimani, Nairobi.
When: Saturdays, in the afternoon (currently advertised at 2pm).
Time in class: 16 hours of in-person, hands-on training.
Support: a weekly check-in so questions get answered while they are fresh.
How the journey runs
Pre-class assessment. Training starts from where your child is, not from a generic template.
Learning and practice. Evidence-based strategies are taught and then practised in class, with coaching.
Individual treatment plans. Strategies are tailored to your child’s needs and learning style.
Weekly check-ins. Short follow-ups between sessions to troubleshoot at home.
Ongoing review. We track growth through regular assessments and feedback from therapists, parents and educators, and adjust plans as needed.
